Report on the final sportshall meeting at Bicester
                                      OXON SPORTSHALL ATHLETIC LEAGUE
Two league titles and three records were achieved by Banbury Harriers young athletes at the final fixture in the Oxon Sports Hall Athletic League on Sunday at Bicester. Four season individual medals also came to the club, silver to Alfie Rowett and bronze to Abbey Anson, Felix Noble and Samantha Phillips.
 The under thirteen girls had already assured their title prior to Sundays fixture, the surprise an outstanding performance by the under fifteen girls to capture the title. This was achieved by an excellent all round team led by Sam Phillips and Naomi Anderson. The former winning both the four lap race and the shot, the latter gaining excellent points in all of her events and the two scoring heavily in the parlauf relay.
 The under thirteen girls followed up as in the previous three meetings by capturing most of the events Evie Hawkins showed excellent form in the standing long jump and all three relays were gained by the club. In the parlauf Emily Thompson and Rebecca Scott went close to a record, the 4x2 lap quartet of Helen Dubber, Paige Cooper, Zoey Pollock and Abbey Anson went all the way to shatter the record.
 The boys in this age group did likewise this after some good individual performances by Felix Noble and Jamie Oliver. The duo along with Charlie Yates and Jake Stickley rewrote the record in their age group.
 The third record all so went in the 4x2lap this by the under fifteen boys, the foursome being Nathan Grieveson, Keirnon Yelland , Michael Dawes and Jack Gill powered their way to the record. This after individual wins from Grieveson in the shot and Gill in the standing triple jump.
The best performances in the under eleven’s age group came from Alice Gibbins in the chest push and Maddy Cooper in the vertical jump.
