Report on saturdays U13/15 meeting at Abingdon.
                                               UNDER13/15 LEAGUE ABINGDON
Michael Dawes set a trend of personal bests which was to be followed by several of the clubs young members at last Saturdays National Development League at Abingdon.
 Two excellent first places and personal bests came in the discus and hammer, he also produced a best in the shot. His younger sister also gained two personal bests in the javelin and the “B” race of the 800metres, finishing second in both. Also in the under thirteen girls both Victoria Harte and Zoe Pollock captured personal bests. Harte gained her bests with a second place 12.4s in the 70m hurdles and also in the long jump and shot. Pollock gained wins and bests in both the 75m and 200m.
 In the equivalent boys age group Felix Noble gained wins in both the 100m and 200m. Charlie Yates gained an excellent personal best in the long jump.
 In the under fifteen girls age group Emily Thompson and Rebecca Scott gained good wins in their prime events , Thompson in the 1500m and Scott in the high jump. Then both girls grabbed good personal bests in the long jump. Other good personal best from the girls in this age group came from Naomi Anderson in the sprints, Helen Dubber in the high jump and Lucy Kosner in the pole vault.
 In the boys Seb Hartwell set personal bests in both the long and high jump and Jake Stickley in both the sprints.
