The road runners take on the tough wolf run
A group of 14 harriers traveled to Stanford Hall nr Lutterworth to

camp and take part in the tough Wolf Run. This is a 10k run with lots of obstacles including lakes, river swims, walls, tyres, logs a water slide and lots & lots of mud. Our team name was Princess Lisa and her minions. The forcast was for rain all day but we managed to get there early and get our tents up before our start time of 10.50 on the Saturday morning.

It took us around two and a half hours to complete the course and true to its word it did rain the whole time.It was very tiring and we did get cold at times but overall it was very enjoyable. Some of the group are already thinking of booking again for next year. Over the last 2km there was some spectator access and Ken was able to get some great shots from a bridge over the river and alongside the obstacles.

Those who were camping were able to get hot showers afterwards but those who did not had to make do with the last lake swim and cold showers. however there was lots of hot drink and food to be had.

After the run and showers the rain stopped and we had a great evening barbecue before retiring early achy and tired but very content.
