Report on the county match at Shuttleworth
5 young Banbury Harriers were selected to represent Oxfordshire in the South of England Athletics Association Cross Country on Saturday held at Shuttleworth Park in Bedfordshire. Selection for the county team was based on performance in the current season and the fact that 4 of the runners are still in the lower year of their respective age categories was testament to the level of talent coming through the club at the moment. In wet and muddy conditions the team gained valuable experience as Angus Pollock finished 67th in the under-13 boys, Owen Knox 90th in the under-15 boys, Tia Williams 66th in the under-15 girls, Emily Thompson 39th in the under-17 woman and Gregor Kelling in the under-17 men
